Dr. Ross Tramell, VMD, MS
Dr. Ross (as he prefers to be called) was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and raised in Lancaster County, Pa. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Bioscience. He then proceeded to Temple University School of Medicine where he obtained a Master’s degree in Physiology. Remaining in Philadelphia, he attended the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine.
His excellent communication skills and witty sense of humor makes him very popular with our clients and patients. He has special interests in surgery, cardiology and oncology.
Dr. Ross enjoys working around the house, brewing his own special micro-brew, swimming, playing guitar, spending time with friends, and traveling with his wife, Claudia and 2 daughters. Their four-legged family includes three rescued cats: Mack, Mickey and Zeke, and newly adopted Golden Retriever Mix, Rosie X Ray!
Dr. Anna McEvoy, VMD
Dr. Anna grew up on a small horse farm in Saratoga Springs, New York and has had a passion for animals ever since. She attended Colgate University where she majored in molecular biology and then headed directly to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her degree in 2007.
Her primary professional interests are x-ray and ultrasound imaging, internal medicine, general wellness and preventative medicine.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Anna takes care of her ever-growing family that includes her husband, her son, her 2 dogs – Henry and Rhonan, her 2 cats – Harry and Lewis and her horse, Sunny. Dr. Anna enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, horseback riding and cooking.
Dr. Marcia Ho-Gatto, DVM
Dr. Marcie grew up on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. She attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and received her BS in Animal Science. She then took the bold step to move to the “mainland” and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia Veterinary School. Dr. Marcie has recently completed her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture.
Her primary interest is in alternative medicine including acupuncture and cold laser therapy. She is also interest in general wellness and preventative care with an emphasis on senior care.
During her spare time, Dr. Marcie enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling to Hawaii to see family, and making pottery creations. She loves spending time with her husband, Nick and children, Malia and Michael and participating in craft fairs. Her other “kids” include five cats – Moolani, Kamalii, Butterscotch, Lexi and Leah and a future dog.
