Rehabilitation is used after an orthopedic surgery and for osteoarthritis patients. The goal of rehab is to increase muscle mass and range of motion, and decrease pain in patients. This is done by utilizing massage, passive range of motion and other modalities. Other form of modalities consist of: a treadmill, cavaletti poles, and wobble board. All plans are based on specific needs and tailored to each patient.
