Ross Tramell, VMD

Dr. Ross (as he prefers to be called) was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and raised in Lancaster County, Pa. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Bioscience. He then proceeded to Temple University School of Medicine where he obtained a Master's degree in Physiology. Remaining in Philadelphia, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, earning a degree in Veterinary Medicine. His career as a veterinarian began at the Tower Road office of Smoketown Veterinary Hospital.

His excellent communication skills and witty sense of humor makes him very popular with our clients and patients. He has special interests in surgery, especially orthopedics, cardiology and oncology.

Dr. Ross enjoys working around the house, brewing his own special micro-brew, spending time with friends, and traveling with his wife, Claudia. Their four-legged family includes Arizona, Mack, Mickey and Zeke.
